Paula Rebellato presents the second episode of “Tape Loops”, a two-volume series about resignification through time and space, layering and repetition, inviting the listener to a journey of sound nuances constructed from the cutting, manipulation, and juxtaposition of antagonistic artists.

In this final chapter, the co-founder of the genre-bending group Rakta uses a Boss RC-202 pedal to rearrange clippings and create compositions from fragments of cassette tapes from artists such as Dead Can Dance, Felinto, Sleep Chamber, Deux Filles, Alvenaria, Autogenesis, Africa - Witchcraft & Ritual Music and Todesfuge.

The EP also features a remix by the talented multidisciplinary artist Kakubo, exploring fractions of different parts of their compositions thru live editing in music machines.
